Moleskin Art

The Moleskine notebook is for many the simple solution to a portable workspace. Moleskine notebooks have been around for over a century, and have been the legendary notebooks of artists and writers such as Henri Matisse, Vincent van Gogh, and Ernest Hemingway.
Moleskine books are small enough to carry around and withstand the everyday abuse, as well as very capable of handling pretty much any medium from ink, to paint.

I love to look inside artists sketchbooks. I like the way they can often be like a stream of consciousness; images without context or explanation.

Here is a selection of Moleskin sketchbooks from various artists:

Album Cover Mix 'n' Match

The following images were created by mixing together album covers to create an image from the combined album artwork.

Pretty clever.

Hand Painting

There has been a recent trend where companies and organisations have been using painted hands in their advertising.
The human hands have been used as a 'living canvases' and are painted with great skill and amazing detail.
